Introducing idOS Epoch 2

On September 25, we launched the idOS App and the idOS Leaderboard on Wallchain. Since then, more than 70,000 unique humans have created their idOS Profile, and we have increased our social presence by 20x. We have achieved this progress thanks to our community, and we will make sure to recognize each individual who made this possible.

On October 23 at 11:59 PM UTC, Epoch 1 of the idOS App and Wallchain Leaderboard will end. Epoch 2 will begin right away and run until the idOS TGE, expected to take place in Q4 2025. Any potential airdrops you may be eligible to will become available after TGE.

What will happen when Epoch 1 ends

• In the idOS App leaderboard:
  ‍
  • Your final Total Points for Epoch 1 are based on the Quest Points and Social Points that you earned until October 23 at 11:59 PM UTC.
    • Your Quest Points for Epoch 1 will be frozen after Epoch 1 ends. Points from additional quests you complete will only be counted towards Epoch 2.
    • Your Social Points for Epoch 1, according to Wallchain’s Mindshare timelines, will only be updated on the leaderboard on October 24 at 12:00 PM UTC.
  • Therefore, you will only be able to see your final Total Points for Epoch 1 and position in the idOS App Leaderboard on October 24 at 12:00 PM UTC. Your position in the leaderboard matters.
  • As announced, only users with an idOS Profile and a connected wallet will be considered active participants in the idOS App. Because some users faced issues completing quests, we have decided to lower the minimum threshold to qualify as an active participant from 150 Total Points to 120 Total Points.
  • Once Epoch 2 is live, you will be able to toggle between Epoch 1 and Epoch 2 leaderboards. Points from newly completed quests will only be counted towards Epoch 2, Mindshare will be directly fetched from Wallchain’s Epoch 2 leaderboard for the top 2,000 users, with the first update going live on October 25 at 12:00 PM UTC.

• In the idOS Leaderboard on Wallchain:

  • As per Wallchain’s Mindshare timelines, the final Epoch 1 leaderboard will only be updated on October 24 at 12:00 PM UTC.
  • The Epoch 2 leaderboard will go live on October 25 at 12:00 PM UTC, when the first Mindshare update takes place.

What to expect for Epoch 2

Starting next week, you will notice several exciting updates in the idOS App:

• We will introduce a new level of identity verification that unlocks a whole new universe of onchain apps and use cases.
• We will launch idOS NotABank. The only thing you need to remember today is that idOS NotABank is, definitely, not a bank.
• We will progressively add new quests for users to complete and explore all functionalities of the idOS App.
• As we previously announced, over the next few weeks we will introduce Contribution Points as a new metric that will influence your Total Points.
• Your total Quest Points for Epoch 2 will be considered and added up since the day you joined, not the start of Epoch 2.
• We will not change the way Social Points are calculated, and Mindshare will continue to be based on the Epoch 2 Leaderboard data provided by Wallchain. Details on the calculations can be found in our previous blogpost. Please note that Mindshare resets between Epochs.

Epoch 2 will be even bigger than Epoch 1. Epoch 2 is a new beginning, and therefore a new opportunity for recent joiners of idOS to claim your position in the community. We’re incredibly excited about what’s ahead and hope you’ll join us on this next chapter.
